Pastor Farshid Fathi, a Christian in Ward 350 of Tehran’s notorious Evin Prison. was among prisoners transferred to hospital on Sunday April 20 after a beating by members of the Iranian regime Revolutionary Guards (IRGC). Pastor Fathi’s cellmates confirmed the beating by IRGC. According to report by Mohabat News hospital doctors found Fathi’s toe was fractured. On April 17, A large number of the clerical regime’s suppressive forces raided the ward 350 of notorious Evin Prison, savagely beating up and insulting the prisoners. The excuse for the raid was inspecting the ward.

Since December 26, 2010, Iran has detained Farshid Fathi, a Christian Pastor in Tehran. Pastor Fathi (pictured above with his family) has been separated from his wife Leila and two children, Rosana and Bardia. He is presently serving a 6-year sentence in Iran’s notorious Evin prison. His only crime: being a Christian and freely exercising his faith.
