The National Security and Foreign Policy Commission of the Majlis, will examine a special law proposal to grant Iranian citizenship to the foreign Shiite fighters. The Parliamentary Commission will work to set the conditions requested to obtain the citizenship. This law serves the interests of the Pasdaran: in this way, the IRGC will obtain an important tool to convince the Shia refugees (from Afghanistan, for example) to enlist in the Iranian militias in order to fight in Syria, Iraq and Yemen. The Pasdaran will also benefit from the sanction lifting decided after the signing of the Iran nuclear deal. Part of the money from the sanction lifting will arrive in Pasdaran’s pockets, in order to finance their clients in Middle East.
