Speaking in the occasion of the next launch of the phase 15 and 16 of the South Pars Gas Field, the head of the IRGC company Khatam-Anbya, Brigadier General Ebadullah Abdullahi, underlined that “Iran does not need external engineering” (Sepah News). For the occasion, it was organized a special ceremony in presence of the President Rouhani and the Oil Minister Bijan Namdar Zangeneh (Fars News).

The words of Abdullahi sounds like a warning to the Government, especially to the Oil Minister Zanganeh. Minister Zanganeh, in these months, has invited many times foreign companies to invest in the Iranian oil and gas sector. The reaction of the Pasdaran – deeply involved in this area – was very angry.

Today, Basij News reports also that the MP Bahram Beiranvand has asked the impeachment of the Minister Zanganeh, for the negative results of the Iranian oil sector.
