On February 14, 1989, the Ayatollah Khomeini issued the (in)famous fatwa, calling for the death of the Indian writer Salman Rushdie. In the occasion of the twenty-seventh anniversary of that decision, the Iranian regime organized another exhibition – this is the third one – dedicated to Khomeini’s fatwa.
In this occasion, 40 organizations agreed in offering $ 600,000 to those who will implement the desire of Khomeini, killing Salman Rushdie. Among the bidders, the first in the list is the Iranian Press Agency “Fars News” – very close to the Pasdaran – which will offer the higher sum ($ 100,000).
