The crisis between Saudi Arabia and Iran arrives in Twitter. This happened after the decision of IRGC Commander Mohsen Rezaee, Secretary of the Expediency Discernment Council, to react to an old tweet of Adel Al Jubeir, Foreign Minister of Saudi Arabia. Rezaee reacted to a tweet in which al Jubeir invited his followers to read his article on the New York Times, underling that “We’re not the nation under int’l sanctions for supporting terrorism and whose officials are on terrorism lists; Iran is“. Mohsen Rezaee answered below, writing: “Wherever a terrorist attack has carried out, there always have been the footprints of a Saudi, but never an Iranian.”
Very interesting is the fact that this happens, in the same moment in which some media in Iran are saying that Rouhani has instructed Zarif to find a new channel of dialogue with Riyadh.
