Today will start in Tehran the so called “Sixth International Conference in Support of the Palestinian Intifada”. The goal of the conference is to “fight the spirit of Madrid”, which means to avoid the normalization of the relations between Israel and the Arab world. In this contest, as pro Hezbollah newspaper al-Akhbar reveals, Tehran is ready to form special “committees” to give “material and cultural support to Palestinian resistance” (which means weapons and pro Iran ideology).

As Iran announced, in the conference there will be representatives from 80 countries, and from all the Palestinian factions. From Syria arrived Hadiya Khalaf Abbas, Speaker of the Syrian Parliament and from Lebanon Nabih Berri, Speaker of the Lebanese Parliament. But, it seems that the Iranian authorities did not consider the contrariety of some Arab States to this conference. First, the Government of al-Sisi.

On Monday the Egyptian authorities have blocked a delegation composed by members of the Islamic Jihad, who was leaving the Gaza Strip to reach Tehran. The delegation was composed by Khaled al-Batsh and Daoud Shihab. It seems that with them there was also Ibrahim al-Naja, who is known as a member of Fatah.

Hamas has announced its participation to the conference. Hamas’s participation to the conference in Iran, marks a new step the rapprochement between the Palestinian terrorist organization and the Iranian regime, after the crisis on the Syrian war.
