Again: again the Iranian press was forced to reveal that, in less than two months, six people were attacked with acid by “unknown people”. An entire family was recently attacked in Shahreza, in Isfahan Province. Last month, two women were attacked in the Province of Ahwaz.
After a pause of less than one year, the nightmare of the acid attacks returned to scare the Iranian people. Between 2014 and 2015, hundreds of women were attacked by members of Hezbollah, for being “bad veiled” (the Iranian police revealed that, only in 2014, there were 318 attacks). The attacks provoked the protest of hundreds of Iranian people, who took the streets asking the end of these actions. Instead of arresting the responsible of the acid attacks, the Iranian regime arrested many civil rights protestors.
