Iran sends Afghan veterans to train Houthi militia in Yemen

Iran admitted that it’s taking steps to increase its support to the Houthi militia in Yemen. The goal of Tehran is to transform the Houthi militia in a new Hezbollah. For this reason, the Quds Force is working to transfer to Sana’a more sophisticated weapons and more military advisers. As proved, the Islamic Republic sends weapons to the Houthi from Somalia, using especially small fishing boats, which are difficult to detect. In Yemen, the main port used by Iran to transfer the weapons to the local Shia militia is the Port of Mukalla. It also seems that, in order to achieve its goal, Tehran is sending the Afghan and Shi’ite Arab veterans of the Syrian war in Yemen, to train the Houthi.
