Despite the almost complete silence of the Iranian media on this issue, the Islamic Republic was hit by another strong cyber attack, which caused the temporary collapse of different important government websites. Between the websites attacked, there ware the sites of the Central Bank, the Irancell Communications, the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs and the Ministry of Information and communications Technology. After the attack, the Iranian Ministry of Communications and Information Technology was forced to admit that “35 government websites were attacked”, and this has obliged also the security forces to remove sites, in order to avoid other attacks. Fore the moment there are no information on who are the responsible of the cyber attack.

The head of the IRGC special unit Quds Force, General Qassem Soleimani, sent a letter of congratulation, to the new head of the political bureau of Hamas, Isma’il Haniyeh. In the letter, Soleimani expressed the will to strengthen the relations between the Palestinian terrorist organization and the Iranian regime, and to re-launch the jihad against “Zionist’s arrogance”.
Below a video of the protest in the city of Ahwaz, capital of the Province of Khuzestan, after the local municipality election, held in May 19. The local Arab population, accused the regime of fraud, in order to provoke the victory of the candidates with Persian and Lur origin.
In a post written on his Instagram account, Mohsen Rezaei – Commander of Pasdaran and actual Secretary of the Expediency Discernment Council – compared the Saudi Arabia of King Salman, to the Iraq of Saddam Hussein. For Rezaei, Saudi Arabia wants to organize a big regional coalition against Iran and wants to play the role that Saddam has played. Because of this reason, Rezaei invited the Iranian political establishment to take seriously the Riyadh’s actions.
In a joint declaration, 156 members of the European Parliament declared that the Iranian election are a fraud, because they are nor free nor equal. They remember that under the Government of Rouhani, more than 3000 prisoners were hanged. In the document, sent also to Mrs. Mogherini, the EU MPs condemned the Iranian role in the Syrian conflict and asked to insert the Pasdaran in the list of the terrorist organizations. Speaking about human rights, the EU MPs asked to establish a UN special commission to inquiry the massacre of 30,000 opponents in 1988, denouncing the complicity in that massacre of the actual Minister of Justice Mostafa Pourmohammadi, and the Presidential candidate Ebrahim Raisi. At the end of the letter, the European MPs invited EU to condition the development of the relations with Iran, to the respect of the human rights by the Tehran’s regime.
The Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman, Bahram Qasimi, said that Tehran will not implement the Unesco Document 2030, so called “SDG4-Education 2030”. The Iranian official underlined that Tehran cannot accept any document, which contradicts the religious, social and ethical values of the Islamic Republic. Qasimi also remembered the opposition of the Supreme Leader to this Unesco’s document, which cannot be contradicted.
In a long interview with Al-Arabiya, the former Minister of Defense of Iraq Hazim al-Shaalan al-Khuzaei – who was also Governor of Al-Qādisiyyah Province in 2003 – reveals how Iranian regime started his meddling in the Iraqi internal affairs and how is also exploiting today the Iraqi territory, to achieve its geopolitical goals. Al-Khuzaei said that, the attempt of Iran to meddling in the Iraqi affairs, started long time ago.
One of the key man in this project was the Iraqi Shia cleric Muhammad Baqir al-Sadr, executed by Saddam Hussein in 1980. For al-Khuzaei, al-Sadr was killed by Saddam after a decision of Iran. Al-Sadr, in a radio interview with Tehran, had expressed his will to leave Iraq, to save the life of his son, who was sick. In that interview, the interviewer reacted saying that they (the Iranians) wanted him to remain there, in order to bring the Islamic revolution also in Iraq. Al-Kuzaei, thinks that this was the prove that Iran has sold al-Sadr to Saddam, in the moment in which it was not useful.
After the fall of the Saddam’s regime, Iran has started to sent thousands of Afghan in Iraq. Here, they receive the military training, before going to fight in Syria for Bashar al Assad. Today many of these Afghans, are living in Iraqi using documents of dead Iraqis.
Hazim al-Shaalan al-Khuzaei (who is a Shiite) told that in 2003, when he was Governor of Al-Qādisiyyah, a person came to him and said that the Iranians have requested the permission to bring 500 people in Najaf, to collect the rubbish. Between them there was also Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, who became after the Mayor of Tehran. Using the excuse of the cleaning of the holy city, these Iranian men – who were Basij – have distributed book in order to attract young people to the Iranian version of the Shia Islam.
Speaking about the actuality, Hazim al-Shaalan al-Khuzaei said tha Iran is using Iraq to have a direct connection with Syria and with the Mediterranean sea. Bashar al-Assad, unlike is father, is completely in the hands of the Iranian regime. The former Iraqi Defense Minister also revealed that, since 2005, almost all the weapons and material that Iran sent for Hezbollah, have passed through Iraq. He also added that, in his opinion, Iran is responsible for the rise of al-Qaeda (and after Isis) in Iraq, because it has given its territory to the terrorists of Osama Bin Laden, in order to use them in Iraq.
At the end of the interview, al-Khuzaei accused Iran of printing false Dinar, and to spread them in Iraq.
During a TV program of the channel Nabaa – broadcasted from Beirut and close to Iranian position – the anchorwoman received a phone call from a Saudi citizen from the al-Qatif Province. Instead of attacking the Saudi Royal family, the Saudi woman said that the situation in Awamiya – a village in the al-Qatif region – is good under the rule of the al-Saud. She also added that the “Government is dearest and is developing al-Qatif creating new gardens and complexes”. Shocked by the words of the Saudi woman, the anchorwoman tried to question the identity of the caller, accusing her of not being from the area of Qatif. The Saudi lady reacted, saying that she was calling from Dammam and she was a Shiite.
