Shiva Amini is a popular Iranian female football player, who won also many medals in international tournaments. Few weeks ago she was in a private trip in Europe – in Italy and Switzerland. Here, she played soccer with friends, in unofficial games. Feeling far and free from the Iranian Islamic dress code constrictions, Shiva decided to play with men, without wearing the veil. After the games, she posted videos of her experience on her Instagram account.

Unfortunately, also the representatives of the Iranian football federation saw her videos and pictures: immediately they decided to ban Shiva Amin from the Iranian national women team. As it is possible to see (and listen) in a video published by the Facebook page My Stealthy Freedom, Shiva protested against the decision, underlining that she was in Europe for private reasons, not playing for the Islamic Republic. The Iranian officials, answered that she is always a representative of the country, and she must behave always in an “Islamic way”. One of the representative of the national Football Federation of Iran, attacked also Shiva for her decision to visit Europe, “a place which is against our culture”.

About the intelligence relations between Damascus and Rome, Terzi expressed his doubts over the effectiveness of this cooperation, because of Syrian regime support to terrorism.

A military delegation from Italy – composed by five people – is visiting Iran. The delegation will remain in Iran until September 7. The goal of the visit is to strengthen the military relations between Rome and Tehran. Today, the Iranian press reported that, during the meeting with Iran’s Navy Commander Rear-Admiral Habibollah Sayyari, the Italian Rear-Admiral Roberto Chia Marcella has invited the Iranian ships to dock in the Italian territorial water. The Italian military official also added that “in the future, we will witness Italian vessels berthing at Iran southern harbors“.

This news is very important for different reasons. The main important one is that Italy is a Nato’s country and a key ally of United States in the Mediterranean Sea. Commenting the meeting with his Italian counterpart, Rear-Admiral Habibollah Sayyari underlined thatItaly enjoys around 8,000 kilometers (4970 miles) of maritime border and the Mediterranean is [also] strategically very significant given the fact that it connects the important Suez Canal and the Strait of Gibraltar“. Head of Syrian intelligence secretly visited Rome?

Source: , al-Quds al Arabi

Rumors arrived from Beirut about a secret visit in Rome, paid by the head of the Syrian intelligence. It seems that the man is Maj. Gen. Mohammed Bin Zaitoun, the head of the Syrian General Security Directorate. The source of the (unconfirmed) information, revealed that the Syrian official arrived in Rome with a delegation and met with his Italian counterpart (plus other local security officials). In theory, Maj. Gen. Bin Zaitoun cannot travel outside Syria, in consideration of the EU and US sanctions against him, for abusing of human rights and repression of civil protests. If confirmed, it will be the first time since many years, that a Syrian security official visits an European capital. The parts also discussed about the diplomatic relations between Italy and Syria, and the possible return of the Italian Ambassador in Damascus.

The crazy dress of the Italian women during the meeting with Iran Ayatollah Khamenei

The ladies were part of the Italian delegation which arrived in Iran on April 12, led by Prime Minister Matteo Renzi. Their dress represents the style of the more conservative women in Iran and is an humiliation for the Iranian women who are fighting for their freedom.

Basij Commander Naqdi: “The travels of Rouhani in Italy and France are against the economy of resistance”

Source: Digarban, BBC Persian

Speaking in Qom, the head of the Basij militia General Muhammad Reza Naqdi, attacked the President Hassan Rouhani for his travel in Europe (in Italy and France). For Naqdi, these travels – and the agreement signed there – are against the “economy of resistance”, an important value of the Iranian system, promoted directly by the Supreme Guide Ali Khamenei. Naqdi also denounced the risks of the “soft war”, through the infiltrations of Western science and conspiracies inside the Islamic Republic (in Farsi this risk is called “Nufuz“). Naqdi also underlined that France is the first enemy of the Iranian revolution and it is today the headquarter of the opposition group MKO (Mojahedin-e-Khalq Organization).

Before Naqdi, also the newspaper Kayhan – very close to the Rahbar Khamenei – attacked the President and the Italian Government, calling an ‘humiliation’ the decision of organizing  the press conference between Rouhani and Matteo Renzi – Rome’s Prime Minister – under the statue of Marcus Aurelius, the emperor who defeated the Parthian Empire (Radio Farda).

In the press conference in Italy, Iran President Rouhani attacked Saudi Arabia: “We will not apologize”

Source: Al Alam, Egypt News,

Speaking during his last press conference in Italy – before the next visit in France – the Iranian President Hassan Rouhani attacked Saudi Arabia. Even if Rouhani has repeated that Tehran wants friendly relations with Riyadh, he condemned the execution of Sheikh al Nimr, and the “Saudi aggression against Yemen”. Rouhani also denounced that Saudi Arabia has failed to achieve its goals in Iraq, Lebanon and Syria. The Iranian President underlined that the Saudis’s actions are “helping the terrorists” (meaning Isis). Because of this, even if Riyadh apologizes with the Muslims, it will be insufficient.

In the end of his speech, Rouhani also remembered the last incident during the Hajj (the holy pilgrim to Mecca), accusing Saudi Arabia of “incompetence“. Speaking about the attack against the embassy of Saudi Arabia in Iran, Rouhani remarked that the Iranian security forces have done all they had to do and there is no reason to apologize (on Tuesday, visiting France, the former chief of Saudi Intelligence, Turki al-Faisal, asked Iran to apologize for what happened in Tehran).

The unbelievable pants of the Italian lady during the meeting with Iran President Rouhani [photo]

An Italian delegation visited Iran in these days. The delegation was led by Italian FM Gentiloni and the Minister of Development Guidi. The two pictures below, were taken during the meeting of the Italian delegation with Iranian President Hassan Rouhani. As it’s possible to see, an Italian lady arrived in the meeting with an unbelievable – and not very diplomatic-style – pair of trousers. The Iranian people started to comment the photos, and many of them expressed anger, asking more respect for the formal style requested during meetings in the Islamic Republic.
