The head of the Political office of Hamas, Ismail Haniyeh, has written a letter to the Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei. In the letter, Haniyeh praised the Iranian support to the Palestinian people, and its activities against the normalization of the relations between Israel and some Arab countries of the region. He also praised the Iranian support to Hamas’s military wing, underlining that the Palestinian organization will continue its armed activity

Today Mehr News, very close to the Iranian IRGC, published a very interesting article, in which it reveals the regime’s conspiracy theory, used to delegitimize the recent popular protests. According to this article, behind the protests there is the Israeli secret service Mossad. In the last two years, writes the author, the Mossad was in contact with an Iranian man called “Amir”, who was living in the Iraqi Kurdistan. The Iranian intelligence discovered the contact and arrested Amir. But, instead of publishing the news, the Iranian intelligence preferred to “replace the Mossad’s contact, giving to the Israeli secrete service another “Amir”. The article writes that Mossad did not realize the trap, and continued to communicate with this double agent. The article also says that there as an intermediary person between the Mossad and Amir, who was a Turkish journalist. This person was discovered by the Turkish intelligence three months ago and arrested (the person confessed his relations with Mossad). The goal of this cell was to plan disturbances in Iran and to provide information.
For the Iranian press agency, this story demonstrates that the Iranian protests were all organized from outside and that they tried to “activate sedition and chaos” in the country. The article also reports that, in order to manage the demonstration inside Iran, Israel and Saudi Arabia have formed an “operating room” in the Iraqi city of Ardabil, while United States have formed two operating rooms, one in Herat and another in Erbil.

Summoned by some members of the executive to speak about Trump’s decision on Jerusalem, the Iranian Defense Minister Amir Hatami said that “Israel will never see peace, and its people will have no choice, but to leave the land”. Hatami also added that Trump’s decision will hasten the destruction of Israel, and will push forward the unity of the Muslim world”.

In what appeared a dangerous move which could spark new tension, the Arab media have published a video of the Iraqi shia commander Sheikh Amin Qais al-Khazali in southern Lebanon, very close to the Israeli border (ten kilometers from the Golan Heights). Sheikh Amin Qais al-Khazali is the commander of the Iraq shia militia Asaib Ahl al-Haq, financed and equipped by the Iranian Quds Force and part of the Popular Mobilization Forces. In the video, it is possible to see al-Khazali with a commander of Hezbollah and, speaking to the phone, saying that he is “full readiness to stand together with the Lebanese people and the Palestinian cause”. The Lebanese Government was not informed of this visit, which indicates another time its incapability (and the incapability of the Lebanese Army) to control the State’s territory.

Ali Shirazi, Khamenei’s representative in the Quds Force, warned Israel saying that “if the leaders of the Zionist entity will ignite a war in the region, hundreds of rockets will fall on Israel”. Yesterday, speaking in the opening of the Islamic Unity Conference in Tehran, the Iranian President Rouhani described Israel as “an enemy of Islam” and attacked the Arab States which are openly declaring friendship to the “Zionist entity”.

An article published on Tasnim News – Iranian press agency with strong ties with the IRGC – spoke about the visit of the Hamas delegation in Tehran. Speaking about the agreement between Hamas and Fatah, signed recently in Cairo, the author underlined that the Islamic Republic welcomes the Palestinian national reconciliation, “but this reconciliation should not be an excuse for retaliation against Palestinian national resistance factions”. After criticizing the request of Israel to Hamas to disarm and after attacking the statement of Abu Mazen about the risk of the formation of another Hezbollah in Gaza, the author wrote: “Palestinian factions should take the advantage of the national reconciliation to strengthen the Palestinian people’s position vis-Ã -vis Israel, and refrain in securing the interests of the Zionist entity and some Arab reactionary regimes”.
In few words, Iran accepts the Palestinian national reconciliation agreement, provided that the Palestinian factions will continue the armed struggle and will not recognize Israel.

A delegation of Hamas visited Iran, led by Saleh al-Arouri. In Tehran, they met also with Ali Shamkhani, Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council of Iran. During the meeting, Shamkhani said that he hopes that Hamas will continue to maintain its jihadist orientation and its role in “resisting to Zionist occupation”. Shamkhani also added that the “ongoing confrontation against the Zionist entity”, must not change and expressed his regret for the “Takfir” groups active in the region. For his part, Arouri underlined that he arrived in Iran to “thank the Islamic Republic for its support to Palestine”, and praised the figure of Imam Hussein, who represent all the oppressed people.

The Iranian Supreme Guide Ali Khamenei gave his sermon for Eid al-Fitr, in front of important Muslim representatives. While speaking, Khamenei held a rifle close to him (the rifle was a Czech Brno, based on German Mauser). Showing the rifle, Khamenei wanted to launch a calling to the armed jihad to the Islamic world. Against whom? First a jihad against Israel, the classical enemy of the Iranian regime. During his speech, Khamenei remarked that the Palestinian issue is the main issue for the Muslim world. Because of this reason, the jihad against the “Zionist entity” is a duty and could take any form. But, Khamenei’s message of jihad, was also against Saudi Arabia. In his speech, Khamenei underlined that the crisis in Yemen and Bahrain, represent a great wound in the body of the Islamic world. The Iranian Supreme Guide called the Islamic world to support explicitly the Yemeni and Bahraini peoples. Which means a calling of Jihad not only against Riyadh, but also against its allies. Finally, Khamenei expressed his support to the Kashmiri people, which means a calling of Jihad against India (whose Prime Minister Modi will soon visit Israel).

The Iranian press agency Tasnim News, close to the IRGC, published the final official statement of the annual Quds Day. The statement says that the liberation of Jerusalem, the freedom of the oppressed Palestinian people and the elimination of Israeli cancerous, must be considered the top priorities of the Islamic world. The statement propose a comprehensive referendum on self-determination of Palestine, as the only solution for the Palestinian issue (which will bring the end of the “Zionist entity”). The statement attacks also the Arab States, which are ready to “support Zionists”, first of all the “diabolical House of Saud“. For these reasons, the statement expresses its support for the “popular and resistance forces” in Syria, Iraq, Yemen and Bahrain. During the march, the Friday Prayer leader of Tehran, Ahmad Khatami, declared that today “Death to America is synonymous of Death to Al Saud”.

Speaking with the Iranian press agency Mehr news in the occasion of the Qods Day, which will be held in Iran tomorrow, Hamas representative Mahmoud al-Zahar praised Imam Khomeini, describing him as a person respected and loved by all the Islamic community. Al-Zahar attacked the Arab countries which are demonstrating to be ready to normalize the relations with Israel: he accused them of selling the Palestinian issue and to permit the loss of Jerusalem. The Hamas’s representative underlined that, despite the attempt to normalize the relations with Israel, this normalization will fail because “the Zionist entity has no historical relations with the Region”. Finally, he asks to Iran to create an army to liberate Jerusalem.
