Source: alweeam.com.sa

On June 18, the Iranian regime announced of having fired six missiles Zolfawar, against Isis targets in Syria, in the Deir al-Zour Province. In particular, the targets were two telecommunications towers and their associated buildings. As well known, the attack was a reaction to the two terrorists attacks of Isis in Tehran, one against the Parliament and the second against the Shrine of the Imam Khomeini. After the attack, the Pasdaran exulted and described the action as the first “clear message” to the takfiri terrorists and their regional supporters (meaning Saudi Arabia).
But now, it seems that the Iranian attacks in Syria were a complete failure. The US think tank Washington Institute, published an article claiming that the Iranian missiles did not hit the targets, but landed elsewhere. Seven Iranian missiles landed in the Iraq desert, while other three missed completely the objectives. Only one or two of the missiles launched by the Pasdaran, arrived close to their targets.
If confirmed, this failure demonstrates that the Iranian missiles have a serious problem of quality control and reliability. The author of the article, Farzin Nadimi, also underline that Tehran could try to obtain foreign technology, in order to remedy the failure.
