The Iranian press agency Tasnim News, close to the IRGC, published the final official statement of the annual Quds Day. The statement says that the liberation of Jerusalem, the freedom of the oppressed Palestinian people and the elimination of Israeli cancerous, must be considered the top priorities of the Islamic world. The statement propose a comprehensive referendum on self-determination of Palestine, as the only solution for the Palestinian issue (which will bring the end of the “Zionist entity”). The statement attacks also the Arab States, which are ready to “support Zionists”, first of all the “diabolical House of Saud“. For these reasons, the statement expresses its support for the “popular and resistance forces” in Syria, Iraq, Yemen and Bahrain. During the march, the Friday Prayer leader of Tehran, Ahmad Khatami, declared that today “Death to America is synonymous of Death to Al Saud”.

Speaking with the Iranian press agency Mehr news in the occasion of the Qods Day, which will be held in Iran tomorrow, Hamas representative Mahmoud al-Zahar praised Imam Khomeini, describing him as a person respected and loved by all the Islamic community. Al-Zahar attacked the Arab countries which are demonstrating to be ready to normalize the relations with Israel: he accused them of selling the Palestinian issue and to permit the loss of Jerusalem. The Hamas’s representative underlined that, despite the attempt to normalize the relations with Israel, this normalization will fail because “the Zionist entity has no historical relations with the Region”. Finally, he asks to Iran to create an army to liberate Jerusalem.
Meeting in Tehran between the head of the Palestinian terrorist group Islamic Jihad, Ramadan Shalah and the Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, Ali Shamkhani. Ramadan Shalah not only praised the Iranian support to the Palestinian cause, but also attacked the Arab states who are working to contrast Iran. For his part, Shamkhani underlined that the freedom of the Palestinian people and the freedom of Jerusalem, are the main important priorities of the Islamic world.

Speaking about the annual Qods Day, the anti-Israel demonstration organized in Iran in the last day of Ramadan, President Rouhani accused the “Zionists” to create the terror in order to distract the International Community from its crimes. He accuses the “Zionist regime” (which he never called “Israel”), of following a strategy of dividing the Muslim world and creating a clash between Islam and Christianity. Rouhani invited the Iranian people, and all the Muslims, to attend en mass in the next Qods Day and to express support to the Palestinian people. For the Iranian President, this is none other than the path to jihad for the independence of al-Qods (Jerusalem). This year the Qods Day will be on July 1.

Today in Tehran there will be a meeting between Hossein Sheikholeslam, Secretary General of the Tehran-based Committee for Support for the Palestinian Intifada, and the representatives of Hamas (Khaled Ghadoumi) and the Islamic Jihad (Nasser Abu Shairf). The meeting is very important, for two reasons. First, Hossein Sheikholaeslam was the Iranian ambassador in Syria, and he has personal contacts with the Lebanese organization Hezbollah. Second, Iran will soon receive the money of the sanctions lifting (around $ 150 billion), part of which it could use to finance the disorders in the West Bank and Gaza.

Iran refuses the German proposal to improve relations with Israel. During his visit in Tehran with a large business delegation, Vice Chancellor Sigmar Gabriel, said that Iran must improve its relations with Israel “if it wants to form closer economic ties” with Germany. Gabriel also said that Berlin is ready mediate between the two countries. Iran’s regime immediately rejected the proposal. Tehran’s Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Marzieh Afkham, underlined that Iran and Germany have different views on some regional issues and refused the idea to develop ties with the “Zionist regime”.
