Source: Saham News

The website Saham News revealed that the Iranian security forces surrounded the residence of former President Khatami, forbidding him to leave his house. Few hours after the deployment, the security forces left the area, permitting to Khatami to go out. The action of the security forces arrived after the decision of the Iranian magistrature to forbid to Khamenei the possibility to take part to public events for three months. Breaking news: Daughter of Iranian head of judiciary system accused of spying for embassies of UK, New Zealand and Italy!

Source: al-Arabiya, Amad News

An Iranian website, Amadnews.org, published two documents in which it is written that Zahara Larijani, the daughter of Ayatollah Sadeq Amoli Larijani – head of Iranian Judiciary system – was a spy. In the documents it is written that Zahara, a supporter of the Green Wave Movement, has passed (for more than two years) important documents to the embassies of UK, New Zealand and Italy. Because of this reason, Zahara was arrested by the IRGC Intelligence division, and questioned about the details of her relations with foreign embassies (especially the relations with UK). It seems that this is also the reason of the regime’s intention to close the social network Telegram: despite the requests, Telegram refused to close a pro-Green Wave channels, which has also published information about the Zahara Larijani.
Clearly, all the Iranian political establishment denied the news, and called all the story a “big lie”. The information was also denied by the Intelligence Minister Alawi and the head of IRGC Intelligence Division, Hossein Taib.
This is the second big scandal for Ayatollah Larijani: one year ago he was accused by a reformist journalist of “financial corruption”, for having 63 personal accounts in different banks.

Source: Gooya.com

The Iranian journalist Babak Dad attacked directly the Iranian General Qassem Soleimani, commander of the Qods Force. Babak Dad wrote that the Iranian interference in Syria, Yemen, Iraq and Afghanistan, goes against the interests of the Islamic Republic. Instead of promoting the national interests, this strategy is damaging Tehran and it’s spreading Iran-phobia, it will provoke the continuation of the international isolation of Iran and it is aligning the positions of Israel and the Arab States. Babak Dad also denounced the arbitrary arrests of Iranians with dual citizenship, which is robbing all the diplomatic energy of the Iranian Government. Mehdi Karroubi, former Iranian Presidential candidate and actual leader of the opposition Green Wave Movement, sent an open letter to Hassan Rouhani from his house arrest. In the letter, Karroubi denounced the fact that now the Iranian regime is represented by only a single voice and denounced that the Presidential elections of 2005 and 2009 were “fraudulent”. He did not ask for his release from house arrest, but request a public trial – based on Article 168 of the Iranian Constitution.

He added that:

The outcome of this trial will show which side in the [2009] election dispute has turned its back on the revolution and which side is dishonorable. It will show which side continues in the path of the revolution and is honorable. “Allah is sufficient witness between me and you,” I emphasize that I will accept the verdict of this court without reserve and welcome it without asking for the right to appeal because the world is god’s court and his deputies on this Earth are the people. And there are no better judges than  God and the people (Iran Wire).

In the same conference spoke also the head of IRGC, Mohammad Ali Jafari. Major General Jafari underlined that “the uprising in the name of God is a Divine duty” (intending that the new Intifada is a jihad), and denounced that today the Palestinian issue it is not in the center of the agenda of the Arab countries. Jafari took the occasion to attack United States and to repeat that the “88 movement” – the 2009’s popular protest in Iran – was an attempt to destroy the Islamic Republic. MP Ali Motahari: “Iranian Police is responsible for the attack to Saudi Arabia’s Embassy”

Iran conservative MP Ali Motahari, spoke about the attack against the embassy of Saudi Arabia in Tehran, happened after the execution of the Shia cleric Nimr al-Nimr. In his speech, Motahari attacked Saudi Arabia, calling the rulers as ignorants, racist and tribal. But, after the attack to Ryadh, Motahari started to speak about who was responsible for the Saudi diplomatic representations in Iran.

For Motahari, the Iranian police is the responsible of what happened. The Iranian MP,  has compared that attack to the one that he suffered during his visit in Shiraz, in March 2015 (Good Morning Iran). The choice of Motahari to compare the two attacks – the one against him in Shiraz and the one against Saudi Embassy – is a clear attack to IRGC and Hezbollah forces.

After speaking about the crisis with Riyadh, Motahari dedicated the second part of his speech to the internal situation of the country. Another time, the Iranian MP condemned the lack of freedom for the press (Good Morning Iran). He ended his speech with reference to the “events of 88” (the protest of the Green Movement between 2009 and 2011). Motahari denounced that the head of the Iranian Magistrature – Ayatollah Sadegh Larijani – has  issued arrest warrants without the order of a Tribunal, in violation of the Constitution.
